I highly recommend Wilmington Dog Park. It has Large Dog and Small Dog play areas. Water and pet waste
stations are provided. It is Wilmington's first off-leash dog park. The city has indicated that additional parks could
be provided. One concern is that people using the park must follow the rules. At my most recent visit to the park,
I saw some dog owners not picking up their pet's waste. This is not only inconsiderate of the other pet owners in
the park, but is the kind of behavior that could lead the city to not establish additional parks.
